  10. Through a licensing agreement with CoSa, the authors
  11. of "Pacoplay.exe" I am able to distribute this player
  12. so that Windows 3.0 and higher, users can now view
  13. QuickTime Movies created on the Macintosh.

  15. What is a QuickTime Movie:
  16.  
  17. QuickTime on the Mac allows recording of real time video
  18. directly to disk on the Mac.  Here-to-for, only Mac users
  19. were able to play these movies.

  21. What is PacoPlay:
  22.  
  23. PacoPlay is an executable program that runs under Windows 3.0
  24. and higher, to view .CAV (QuickTime converted) files under windows
  25. just like you were viewing them on a Mac.

  27. INSTALLING PACOPLAY.EXE IN WINDOWS 3.0:
  28.  
  29. You need a video card capable of 640x480x256 to run this file.
  30.  
  31. PacoPlay.Exe is the only file necessary to run the movies.
  32.  
  33. **Install PACOPLAY.EXE by copying it to your hard drive.
  34.  
  35.   Start Windows 3.0 and select NEW under the FILE menu and
  36.   choosing PROGRAM ITEM. (The Player will go into whatever
  37.   Program Group is currently selected.)

  39.   Choose BROWSE and slect PACOPLAY.EXE file.  Click OK to exit
  40.   the dialog box.

  42.   You should now see a red dynamite blaster icon.
  43.  
  44.   To launch the PacoPlayer, double-click on this icon (or
  45.   select OPEN from the file menu) and click the OK button
  46.   on the splash screen.

  48.   Select any filename with an .CAV extension and click open.
  49.  
  50.   Once the movie is running, you can click the mouse button
  51.   or hit a key to stop it.  Click the cancel button on the
  52.   file-open dialog box to exit Paco Windows Player.
